2nd Generation Bioethanol
The construction of a 2nd generation bio-refinery to process biomass using a bio-technical process is an investment activity focused on producing 2nd generation biofuels with high-efficiency cogeneration of electricity and heat.
Ligno-cellulose biomass will be processed in progressive steps to produce ethanol, with subsequent conversion into biochemicals that may be used in various industrial sectors, along with the processing of the by-products to generate heat and electricity.
Annual second generation biofuel production capacity is planned at a level of 30 million litres.
